Abstract
The medicinal plant of Bauhinia tomentosa leaves is traditionally used for liver inflammation, abscess, tumors, wounds, and hyperlipidemia in ethno medicines in Asia and Africa. To study anti-anxiety activity by using the elevated plus maze method. Leaves are extracted by maceration method using ethanol and petroleum ether. Extracts are administered to mice and record the activity in EPM. Further results ethanolic extract shows more activity than petroleum ether extract
