CONCLUSION: Snake bite is a significant health problem in India, particularly in the rural areas. In general, snake bites accounts for about 45900 deaths every year and 3% of total AKI reported in India. AKI complicates the course of viper bite in 5-30%.We reported a case of snake envenomation induced Haemolytic uraemic syndrome with AKI. Hence, a better awareness of HUS and its early identification can contribute to a more tailored approach in the management and better prognosis for the patient.
